WE WILL ALSO HAVE THE NEW JOKERS WILD BOUNCE HOUSE FOR THE LITTLE ONES.

2002 July 4 Vashon Race, 5 am, as in morning. Can you say Coffee!!. This is the the Oldest most guarded race in the NW and has been run since the early 50's. This was originally started by some famous hydroplane racers. With the loud sounds of the hydros and the calm early morning waters. It was the perfect setting for the event. All of the residents of Vashon have been awaken to the loud sounds of hydros from 10ft to 30ft racing close to the shores since the 50's. This year will be no exception. Brad Wilson ran the race last year and was shocked at all the people that where up toasting them on, or was it shaking there fists, either way Brad said it was fun. I know it is early but what the hell else would you be doing at that time of day, sleeping? I'm sure you would rather be boating. Meet in Quartermaster Harbor at Jennings point just before 5am for this run. Jennings point is deep inside Quartermaster Harbor on the Left (west side) of the Harbor. Once you pass Dockton on your right (east) continue up and the Park faces North. You will see hundreds of people on the shore at the boat launch and Fire Trucks. A large portion of the Island comes out for the event, I think they serve pancakes too. If you need more information you can contact Brad Wilson at bjw@foxinternet.net or 206-972-5802. We get up on New Years Day to go boating, we can do this too.
